"Triangle" is the third episode of
The X-Files season 6. It first aired on
November 22, 1998.
With the X-Files still closed, Mulder goes searching for the Queen Anne, a British luxury
liner that mysteriously disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle during World War II, and which
has since suddenly reappeared in the Atlantic Ocean. Unfortunately, after being pulled
aboard the Queen Anne, Mulder soon realizes that he has been transported to the past, right
when the Nazis have taken over the ship. Furthermore, he learns that the ship is carrying
an important "weapon" that could turn the tide of the war in favor of the Nazis, should they
learn of it. As he tries to find his way back to the present, he encounters various people
who resemble his friends and enemies, including Scully, Spender, Skinner, and the Cigarette
Smoking Man. Meanwhile, in the present, Scully and the Lone Gunmen try to track Mulder down
without drawing Kersh's or CSM's attention.
